Forever in search of a good story, Meredith Ludwig in the fall of 2019, found herself helping the nine tribes in Ottawa County, Oklahoma capture and
share some of their oral history. Originally planned as a live audio theatre production, the pandemic intervened and the final outcome was moved
to video. Fourteen of the twenty short videos she produced over a three year period are available at, Lives We Weave – YouTube https://youtu.be/DTNRY_TMLS8.
The project was funded by a grant from the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and the Administration for Native Americans.

With her new found filmmaking skills she most recently entered Gimme Truth, a video game show sponsored by the True False Film Festival in Columbia, Missouri.
Ludwig convinced all three judges and most of the audience that a support group for polutophobics really did exist. Led by a therapist to “repurpose something every day” by making art, the group was totally false, but Ludwig hopes it will be true some day.

Early influences include summers lived off the grid, an entomologist father, a barefooted mother and grandparents who introduced her to art, theatre, natural history and the symphony in Cleveland Ohio.

Next big project – the last big trip, a combination of sound, music, voice and video.
