Description: ShakeSport III: First Player, Part I is intended as a beta-version of an expanded live performance, when the plague has sufficiently receded next year, Bard willing. In this proof-of-concept event, an actor at one location, The Poet, will operate an interface, The Roll, that will, after selecting a Shakespearean text, deliver said text, with stage directions, and various Rubs, for a second, remote actor, The Player, to follow to their fullest. Think FPS gaming (First Person Shakespeare, obvs) for The Poet, Guitar Hero/Beat Saber (rapier?) for The Player, and method in the madness for all!
