Noted audio dramatist Yuri Rasovsky has completed his audio drama textbook, The Well-Tempered Audio Dramatist.

The book features chapters on every aspect of audio drama production including Project Management, Microphone Techniques, Casting and Sound Effects.

"I decided to put The Well-Tempered Audio Dramatist in a three-ring binder to allow for additions to the textbook as well as let producers add their own resources," says Rasovsky.

"I wanted to make sure, as technology changes and impacts how we work in the studio and over the internet, that anyone who buys the book could simply add additional chapters as I write them."

Supported by a grant from The National Endowment for the Arts, The Well-Tempered Audio Dramatist is a project that Rasovsky has been working on for the last five years. "I wanted this to be a complete primer for the newcomer to the art form, as well as a reference for those long-time producers," says Rasovsky. "It took time to bring together all the elements necessary for teaching this art to others." Available exclusively through The National Audio Theatre Festivals, Inc., the book costs $35.00.
